I got a 5.5 on my AWA and it says its the 83% next to that number but when I look at the chart on the official score report a 5.5 is 87%. Same thing with my quant score and total GMAT score. The percentages don't match by a few percentage points on the big charts. Why is this?

Don't quote me on this, but I believe that the official report represents *actual* percentiles, while the chart shows percentiles based on past test-takers.
Maybe someone can answer this: do the percentiles on your official report only include the people who took the test on the same day as you? Or does it include everyone who's taken the test within a given period of time?
