Official guide too easy?

Do you guys think that the questions in the official guide are not that difficult? I feel that knowing the materials in the official guide will not accurately predict your score in the real exam.

OG represents a range of 'question difficulty' on the actual GMAT. Despite not having exclusive coverage of 700+ questions, it's still the best resource to study from--there's a lot of value in looking at these real but retired GMAT questions during your prep.

I agree with Eric 100%. Please be sure that you've mastered all the questions in the Official Guides before you look elsewhere for exclusively high level questions.

That said, if you're in the top 10% in quant, you will probably find that the OG has too many "easy" questions and not enough challenging one. There are several sources of advanced quant questions though the quality may vary, so look for feedback. Below are the ones I'm aware of.

GMATFix OG Companion (www.gmatfix.com)
MGMAT Challenge Questions Archive (www.manhattangmat.com)
Kaplan 800 book (www.kaplan.com)
GMAT Club tests (www.gmatclub.com)

I've used and recommend the GMATFix bookt. I've heard from a couple of people that MGMAT Challenge is too difficult but that Kaplan is good. GMAT Club itself admits that its tests are not trying to reflect GMAT difficulty but to surpass it.
