Of all the high schools in the United States, Judd Academy

Expert replies

Of all the high schools in the United States, Judd Academy is the one with the largest number of alumni serving in the Air Force. Knoxworth High School, however, is the school with the most graduates serving in the military as a whole, including the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard.

Which of the following, if true, is most clearly supported by the statements above?
(A) Knoxworth is the most patriotic town in the nation.
(B) Judd Academy has fewer graduates serving in the Navy than does Knoxworth High School.
(C) Judd Academy has a higher percentage of alumni serving in the Air Force than does Knoxworth High School.
(D) Some graduates of Knoxworth High School are serving in the military but not in the Air Force.
(E) Knoxworth High School is the school with the second-highest number of alumni serving in the Air Force.

Can some experts explain the best option?

Option A - INCORRECT.
Knoxworth is not a town but a school in the united states who has most of its graduates serving in the Military as a whole.

Option B - INCORRECT.
Juud Academy has almost all of its graduates serving in Air Force compared to Navy who has most graduates from knoxworth serving there.

Option C - INCORRECT.
This statement is right according to the information gathered in the reasoning, more of Juud academy alumni serves in the Air Force than those from Knoxworth high school graduates, but it lacks full details of the speakers reasoning.

Option D - CORRECT.
This option supports the statement in the reasoning. Most of the graduates of Knoxworth high school are serving in the whole Military that is why there is a few record of those serving in Air force compared to Juud Academy who has almost all of its alumni serving in Air Force.

Option E - INCORRECT.
This option is not true and its not in support of the information gathered. Knoxworth High school is the school with the second-highest number of Alumni serving in the Military as a whole and Air force is inclusive. Meanwhile Juud Academy is the school with the highest number of Alumni serving in Air Force.
