Even if you dont know the idiom you can get to the correct answer.

Relationship - singular - remains

Statistics - plural - associate

Hence D.

Just to add why we should choose statistics associate
Here statistics means several statistical facts, so it is plural


statistics will be singular when it is used to mean subject (e.g. in school).
We have Statistics and Marketing classes in the first year of MBA programm.
