Hi all,

My GMAT score was 610(Q44 and V26) and I appiled for the NYU Stern part time MBA program, I was not selected though. What do I need to do to have better chances of selection when I apply next spring/fall. I have bachelors in Comp Sci and more than 11 years of experience. I had GPA of 3.5 and excellent recommendations.

I will definitely try to take the GMAT again and improve my score, but if there are any other things I need to consider, please feel free to discuss.
Any ideas or input will really help.

i have many friends in the Langone program @ stern... I would suggest getting your verbal score up. I know two people that got 640's on the GMAT and another friend who had a 700 - all three in the PT program.
My goal is to make MBA applicants take onus over their process.
