This one isn't exactly hard or even moderately difficult but throwing it out there anyway.

A bag of candy contains only nut chewies and marshmallow delights. There are twice as many nut chewies as marshmallow delights. The nut chewies are either peanut or cashew and there are 1/3 as many cashews chewies as there are peanut chewies. If Julie selects one piece of candy at random, what is the probability that she picks a cashew candy?

a) 1/6

b) 1/3

c) 1/2

d) 2/3

e) 2/5

N = nut, M = marsh, c = cashew, p = peanut

n=2m
n has c and p
p=1/3c or p = 3c

If we put a ratio with everything in terms of c

c:3c:1/2(4c) = c:3c:2c

Hence Prob of c = 1/6
