Let X be the number.

Then X = 13K + 2 --(1)

Let P be the Quotient,then

X = 17P + 2 --(2)

From 1 and 2

13K = 17P

K = 17P/13

As K is a multiple of 17,when K is divided by 17 remainder is 0.

Let's say the number is N.
So, (N - 2) = 13*K
Also, (N - 2) is divisible by 17.

So, 13*K is divisible by 17.
So, K is divisible by 17
