Rewriting the given equation - m^2/(m-1) - m < 0
=> (m^2 - m^2 + m)/(m-1) < 0
m/(m-1) < 0,
Thus there are two possibilities: m > 0 AND m-1<0 OR m >0 AND m<1, hence 0<m<1
OR m<0 AND m-1>0 OR m<0 AND m>1 NOT POSSIBLE. Hence, the only condition possible is
0<m<1.
Stmt 1 - m could be 0.5 or 2.5. Hence from above INSUFFICIENT.
Stmt 2 - m could be 0.75 or 3.5 with the equation less than or greater than 0. Hence INSUFFICIENT.
Stmt 1 and 2 - m could be 0.8 or 4.1 and again the condition is INSUFFICIENT.
