Drawing the circle and the triangle you could easily find 6 points.

Source is GMAT Prep. I am able to find 2,4 & 6. How is it that 1,3 & 5 intersects are possible?

Depends on whether you draw the triangle. First draw the circle and then the triangle over it. I you have 6 points then you can also have 5, 4,3,2,1.

You can get odd numbers of points if one or more of the vertices of the triangle lie on the circumference of the circle.
