IMO C

Right to zero in number line means if z and f both are +ve.

1. z*f > 0 then either z and f > 0 or both z and f < 0. So Not Sufficient.

2. z+f > 0 then either z,f > 0 or z>0,f< 0 (say z=3,f=-2). So not sufficient.

Now combine both. if z<0 and f<0 then z+f < 0 but z+f>0 and zf>0. So Sufficient

Statement 1: z and f are both +ve or both -ve. So z and f could be either to the right or to the left of 0. INSUFFICIENT>.
Statement 2: z and f can be anything except both -ve. INSUFFICIENT.

Together, we can say that z and f are both +ve, hence SUFFICIENT.

C is the answer.
