(D) that the Nubians combined artistic elements from Egypt with those -- Issue in A is addressed....combined X with Y is correct....
(E) that Nubians combined artistic elements from Egypt and those -- Idiom is not properly used

The OA is D.

Is ' Artistic elements' - Plural the reason for those ?

Yes....artistic is adj and elements is noun

(D) is the correct answer.

1. Use of THAT after MAKES CLEAR is necessary. So eliminate the choices (A) and (C).
2. COMBINED WITH is the correct IDIOM. Hence choose (D).
