not only .. but also

verb (not noun/object) has follow right after "but also" - am i righht?

btw, can i separate "but .... also" in the "not only .. but also" sentence

this came to my mind, sorry that i dotn really have any example.

Not Only... But Also, need to be parallel. And you can not seperate but from also...
