Dear all,

I am Pradeep, managing consultant - Risk manager, and of coz MBA aspirant, for a bit too long now.
I tried GMAT in 2010, 2011 managed 660 - 640 - 660. Some were unfortunate situations some were poor preperations. Finally managed to study for 3 months, had a not so bad GMAT exam experience and managed a 700.

Which raises my hope and want to put it to test and seek independent validation.

Here below i have provided my profile - academic, professional, extracurricular etc. Much appreciate if you could help me evaluate my profile.

Target B-Schools : LBS, INSEAD, IMD

My profile :

Age : 30

Location : london

GMAT : 700, IR 6, AWA - awaiting

Work Experience : 7 years 10 months
Role : Managing Consultant & Risk Manager - Have both corporate & customer responsibilities.
Firm : Wipro
Work : Risk management for BU covering $700 million USD, Strategic decision Support - Investment, geoentry, partnering etc, Negotiations, dispute resolution, litigation analysis, performance improvement. Total contracts negotiated / design of performance management worth $2.6 billion USD.
Career Progress : grew from business development executive to heading risk management in 6 years

Education :
B.Tech - 9.45/10 or 4/4 ( department topper 3, college topper 1)
PGPM - Finance - 3.1/4 ( top 15% in the class)

SSLC - 92%
Top Performer award by Department.

Extracurricular :

Others:
I have been involved in helping shape up entrepreneurial ventures for more than 3 years now. Met couple of VCs and since then have become more focused in getting myself involved in this space. Here are my experiences in this field :
*** 3 years ago advised an beleaguered Auto components manufacturing firm in discovering costing problems and why an merger with a Portuguese company wouldn't work, unless set right first.
***I have been working with a london based payments start up to evolve their product strategy and helped position the case to Rothschild.. the project has a green light and already in touch with other firms.
***I am working with an India based Sports goods retailer, in exchange for a minor stake, to improve their sales, bring structure & get funding.

Thanks much
Pradeep
