All the preparations and all the pain, all the fun and this is what i gained:
700 (49, 35)
Not quite the score i was expecting but i'm still hopeful of getting in some of the programs i thought initially.
All this wouldn't have been possible without all of your explanations and some amazing funda's that i learnt here esp in DS. Sincere thanks to all of you guys.
Regarding my test experience, AWA section really set it up for me and went through in jiffy. In both of the essays i had 2 minutes for tweaking. well on plan...i was feeling confident.
Next came my strongest point..Quants and i felt i did quite superbly..until of course i saw the results
Now came the most crucial part of my test, where i finally churned a presentable score. Questions looked tough initially but by the end i was just going with the flow.
Midway in Verbal section i got nervous, as time was less and RC (where performance in my strongest area, was not what i'd have expected initially) was going nowhere. But regrouped myself and finally finished it.
In the end, i'm still happy with Verbal part but am feeling bad about Quants here. But, no point complaining as my GMATPrep2 scores were in this range only:
710 (18 Sep)
700 (20 Sep)
760 (22 Sep) [ considering many OG and repeat questions
]
In Princeton Review Tests, my performance was again consitent:
650-690 (in the 4 tests from late Aug to 15 Sep) and yes those gunning for 800, please go through Kaplan tests for sure.
If you get 720+ in it, u'll definitely be at the top in real GMAT...i got 590 & 600
Again, thanks to all of you. Could someone please give me a reasonable picture of the hopes i can attach with my score here??
