The answer should be E.

A. Does the wrong comparison
B. again wrong comparison. Also, as is incorrect here.
C. as is incorrect here.
D. "their" does not agree with public. Singular form required.
E. perfect.

Like should be used when we mean "in the same way" or "to the same degee"
