Education: BA Hons in Graphic Communication from Loughborough University, UK (2:1)
Work History: 4 years of work ex as a graphic designer with an independent global design firm.
GMAT: 650 (4th attempt)
Gender: female
Application History: 1st time applicant

Other Info:
Originally from India. Studied in Singapore/UK. Working in Singapore since graduation.
Currently also working on a non profit start up idea outside of work.
Also taking an online Human centred design course by Ideo.org and Acumen

Short term goals post MBA: Transition to a more strategic role such as business designer or design strategist at an innovation consultancy like Ideo, Frog.
Long term goal: Social entrepreneurship

I was also wondering if I should take any additional quant courses before applying or I could mention that I intend to take it before school in my applications?

Yes, if you can enroll in some quant-related courses now it will do a couple of things, show good self-awareness as well as signal to admissions committees your seriousness for preparing for the program. I am assuming your quant score is low on your GMAT, so this will be very important. Your background and goals are interesting, so that works in your favor. cheers, Alex
