If you're already committed, go for it. Based on my practice test scores, I was expecting a 600-610 range score, and figured I would have to take the test again anyway. When I hit the score button, I was shocked to be looking at a 680. you have nothing to lose by taking the test and everything to gain. Best case: you do great, worst case, you get to experience the actual test in a testing environment. One piece of advice is just to relax. I didn't put a lot of pressure on myself because I assumed it would be a first run. If you're wound too tight because of nerves, you'll suffer for it.

Yes, i have paid them $250 and rescheduling now would mean another $250. I am not confident as i did GMAT pratice test and i am very rusty on math side. I am not sure how schools would interpret someone taking the test thrice.

I don't know how schools view the number of attempts, I think they're much more interested in your score, and pretty much every school I've talked to only considers either the latest score or the highest score. Kill the low self-confidence. I studied for about as much time as you have between now and the test, and scored 88 percentile. And as my undergrad GPA shows, I'm not that smart. Take some practice tests, get a good night's sleep beforehand, exercise during the week, and relax. You'll do great.

If you cancel your score or don't send in score reports, schools won't see the attempt for now.

However, if you apply to those schools in the future, they'll see all of your attempts for the previous 5 years, so there's no way to hide a bad score.

If you write and cancel, just for the experience (since you make it sound like you can't get your money back or just pay a rescheduling fee), then it will show up on your record as a cancellation. Pretty much every B-school will ignore 1 cancellation, but may start to wonder what's going on if it sees multiple cancellations on your record.
