Need to know the right schools to apply

by nysb77 » Tue Aug 06, 2013 7:13 pm
HI, I wish to enroll into MBA early next year and am hoping to give exam late in late Sept so I can make mid October-ish deadline that most collages have for sprint session. I do not hope to get more than 600-610 equivalent in GMAT. I have been researching and need to find out what programs could be my best shot. I am an engineering graduate, with more than 6 years of work experience out of which 3 years is international experience. My academics are decent and so are the extra curriculars. Any suggestions on what is the best I can hope for? Thank you!

Hi,

If you have decent profile with solid international experience, you can target schools in the range of top 20-40 ranked schools, target for minimum 680+ to increase your chances. Also brainstorm about your post MBA career goals that will help to suggest some realistic schools based on your profile.

Hi there..

I have managed to secure an offer from University of Strathclyde, planning to specialize in Operations and Consulting, hodling around 7 years of experience in IT operations and consulting background.

Please advise if Strathclye is a good b-school for placement and career progression.
