Hi Pagpust,

Can you comment on how close are the MGMAT Scores to the GMATPrep . What is the tentative deviation one can expect in the actual exam .

Can one expect an upward trend or downward trend in the Actual Exam wrt the MGMAT Tests ?

It's been my experience that people who don't use enough Official Guide materials often find that they score lower on the real test than they do on their practice tests. If you haven't already, consider picking up Official Guide 10 (if you can find it on ebay or something, or borrow it from a library). There are lots of questions in there that aren't in OG 12. (I'm assuming that you've already used OG 12, but if you haven't, then PLEASE do so.) Also, the Verbal Review Guide -- the thin one. It doesn't matter whether you get ed 1 or ed 2, they're basically the same. Ed 1 is purple, Ed 2 is royal blue.

When you study verbal, read every single word of their explanations. Their rationale is all that matters. It isn't enough to say, "oh, I got it wrong, but now I understand...." Are you SURE you understand? Focus on what it was about the wrong answer that attracted you, because it may attract you again. Focus on what it was about the right answer that repelled you enough for you not to pick it, so you know not to let that issue distract you again.

I have already completed OG10,Og12, and both the verbal guides. I am not sure whether I should do them again as I already know lots of questions. Can you please suggest how can I track my improvment in verbal as I already know done lots of questions and I knew answer of many.
