Hi All,

Please recommend which of the top 30 B-schools in the US,apart from Ivy League, should i look to target?

I'm interested in pursuing either of the two career paths mentioned below:

1. Management/Strategic Consulting
2. A role in the Sales Ops/Marketing Division of a leading pharmaceuticals firm in the US (Currently I have 2 yrs of sales ops+marketing analytics experience in the US pharma industry)

Your inputs will help me research more about the MBA programs and arrive at a list of 3-4 schools

Thanks,
Nikhil

You need to choose one of those paths. No Adcom will ever accept multiple career paths.

Use this to create a comprehensive list: https://www.aringo.com/MBA_specializations.htm

Check out this article to know about top schools for consulting: https://poetsandquants.com/2012/06/22/b- ... nsultants/

Also, please hire one of the consultants right NOW (while there is still time). Most of them offer "school selection" as a separate gig, and their recommendations will be way more accurate than a list that you come up with. They know each school's program intimately and have more experience with it. Also, it doesn't cost much.

Now is the time.

I'm planning to give the GMAT in July. So I wanted to shortlist 5 programs (to be entered during the GMAT)- 1-2 dream,2-3 reach and 1 safe school-so that I eventually end up applying to at least 1 or 2 of these 5 and maybe 1 or 2 others. This will enable me to save on application costs.
