Hi

This is my first post in BTG forum. I need some help with my SC studies.

I have been preparing for GMAT for the last 2 months, however my SC skills are not improving. I am using the Manhattan SC guide for my SC studies. I have taken following tests so far (in that order)-

Kaplan CAT1 (score 640)
Kaplan CAT2 (score 680)
Kaplan CAT3 (score 720)
Kaplan CAT4 (score 700)
Manhattan CAT1 (score 690)- taken yesterday

In all the tests (except in Kaplan CAT3 ), my SC accuracy has been +/- 50%. The weird thing is that my accuracy is always close to 90%(speed 1-1.25 min/question), when I practice SC from Manhattan/OG/Kaplan but accuracy drops significantly while taking tests.

I have a similar weird observation with my quant. My speed with quant is always 1-1.5 min/question while practicing but it drops to >2 min/question during tests. I am not able to complete the test in time without 1-2 guesses.

Any help is highly appreciated. I will be happy to provide more data if required.

My profile - Indian Male/37 yr, targeting executive MBA starting summer 2014.
