Need Help - Vanderbilt Owen vs Georgetown McDonough

Figure out where you wish to apply

I have received an admit from

1) Vanderbilt - 70k Scholarship
2) Georgetown - 60k Scholarship

Need help deciding which college to attend considering my post MBA goals are to get into management consulting

1) I am international student so as far as location is considered it doesn't matter a lot
2) Nashville has a considerably lower cost of living, but I am not sure about vanderbilt's strength in consulting
3) McDonough does send a considerable number of its students into consulting, but I am presuming most of them get into government consulting, so not sure about it.

Any advice from the experts???

Honors and Ranking
Located in Nashville and affiliated to the Vanderbilt University, Owen Graduate School of Management's MBA programs are consistently ranked in the top 10% of accredited business schools. Based in Georgetown and affiliated with Georgetown University, McDonough Business School has a rich experience with more than 220 years of excellence in education. It is known for its academic rigor, global mindset, and commitment to public service.

Placement
Though ranked higher than Owen, a McDonough MBA is absorbed better at Washington DC and/or the Mid-Atlantic region. However, an Owen MBA is good for anywhere and has been able to retain its high ranking since quite some time now. Consulting placement wise also, Owen has an edge over McDonough.

Campus and Cost of Living
While the overall cost of living in Nashville is below the U.S. average at a score of 90.2, the cost of living in primly located Georgetown is 106.6% greater than the national average.

Broadly, Owen looks like a better bet for you than McDonough.
