NEED HELP!

I graduated college in 2002 and I am just now getting around to taking the GMAT for the first time. Man was I disappointed. Math has always been my strongest subject. I decided to get a review course to help me study for the test. (800score.com) After going over some of the material I felt like I had forgotten most of what I learned in school. On all of my practice test I scored from a 400-540 (I know that's not good). Needless to say I scored a 400 on the test. My goal was a 600. I am looking to take the test again and I hope to get some help this time. After reading some of the post it looks like many of you give great advice so I am asking everyone for help. Anything you think would help me to meet and or surpass my goal would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Did you complete all of the material from your review course? If so, were you able to identify certain problem areas?

I recommend you analyze your strengths and weaknesses. You need to spend some time determining where you should focus, then build your content base, learn key strategies, determine any timing issues, and practice with official problems. What was your score breakdown?

I used Knewton to build foundational math skills.

You should definitely go through the questions from the Official Guide 13th ed. and 12th. Moreover, you should focus on all sections of the exam and monitor your progress in order to make sure you do not overlook any area that needs improvement.

@ Nextgreatleader... I did complete all the review material. I was able to identify a few problem areas but I found that I wasn't able to teach myself the things I had trouble with. I scored between 19-32 on my math and 22-36 on verbal.
