Well, first of all you need to concentrate on both Math and Verbal and not just verbal. Although preparing mostly for verbal is good as it will increase your overall percentile drastically, you still need to sideline some of your preparation time for Math.

For math, basics is the key. Strong foundation always leads to good results in GMAT Math. If you are not strong enough in basics, don't hesitate to go back to your basics. It will always help you. If you are strong, then start working out problems. But don't forget to analyze the method for each and every question.
