Hi Stacy,
I scored 720 in GMAT last month but was not satisfied. I was scoring 750-770 in the practice tests. I retook it today and scored a 680.

Now, how does it look to the adcomm? In most of the applications they ask for self-reported GMAT scores and they verify the score after the admission and in some they ask for the score to be considered for admission.

Dear jbdpramod,

Schools use your highest score in your evaluation, so you will apply with the 720 and that is the score report that should be sent to your target schools. It is not necessarily a negative that your score went down in the eyes of the schools. They like to see that you took the test more than once. However, I don't know that it is worth taking the test a third time. Channel your energy to your applications and be happy/proud of your 720. It is a great score!
