Now i know this question might have been asked here several times before. i went through some of those threads and found some of the info useful. however i would like to ask this question with a few filters.
1) Assume i have no preference in terms of the duration of the program.(1 vs 2)
2) Assume tuition fee is not to be taken into account.( JMSB > HEC)
3) Assume(for sure) i dont know french but i am trying to learn and work on it.
NOW,i have the following questions:
A) JMSB has internship option while HEC does not. How useful can an internship be in landing a FT job?
B) How difficult is it to find an internship? Is it wise to make my decision based on the "availability of internship" alone?
C) outside of Quebec, which one of these 2 has a better reputation? Do they even have a reputation outside Quebec?
D) All this considered (including the "filters"), which school should i go to?
Note: a bit about myself. Indian, 4 years of WE in IT/ engineering, looking to get into consulting(long term goal, first choice). I am trying to learn french, however,i wouldn't mind relocating to Toronto,Ottawa etc in case my lack of knowledge in french becomes an issue in Montreal.
I have already confirmed JMSB offer. Just got the HEC offer.
Cheers !
