Hi AnuragRatna,

This SC presents a "context clue" as to what verb is needed in the underlined portion of the sentence. The phrase "increasing expectations" refers to something that might happen in the future. Since we're dealing with an "expectation", we know that whatever it is that we're expecting hasn't happened yet. We need a verb that references the future. Eliminate A, B and D.

Between the 2 remaining answers, answer E has a number of problems, including redundant language and an unnecessary pronoun ("that it would....that of..."). Eliminate E.

Final Answer: C
