My profile is unique more in its personal column. Born in Eritrea (located in NE Africa). Won two merit scolarships in different times and graduated in IT. During this period, I had to overcome a couple of hurdles that included concentration camps deportations. I managed to get through these things also due to the involvement of International Human rights organizations. Ofcourse, I intend to expound in much more detail about this background in my actual application. I currently work with a local government in the US.
Work Exprience:
- 2 years as a Network Coordinator : leadership position
- 2 years as a Systems and Requirements Manager : dealt with Financial and systems qualtiy control issues
- Currently working as a Project Manager
Over the past years I've been trying to move more into the business aspects of the systems rather than the technical issues that I started with when I graduated. I want to do the MBA to enhance that particular aspect and really learn how raw capitalism operates.
I am a family man. So I can only do this part-time. I am planning to apply to Georgetown. My target GMAT is 720+. What are my chances and what do you suggest I work on to strengthen my profile as I am aiming for 2010?
I would truly value and appreciate any suggestions you could give me.
