[/b] I am planning to apply for NYU Part time MBA Program for Fall 2009
Following are my stats/Profile

GMAT: 660, AWA 4.5
GPA: Masters (Chemical Engg.) 3.5 , Bachelors (Chemical Engg.): Distinction (Not sure how it converts to GPA)
Work Exp: 5+
Profession : Research Scientist, Product Development, Pharmaceutical Industry
Career Accomplishments: Very Good
Cocurricular Activities: Average

Could you please guide
What are my chances of getting into NYU Stern Part Time program ?
Would it too late too late to apply for Fall'09 ?

Dear ricky259,

You appear to have good work experience and a strong transcript from your degree programs based on the limited information posted. However, your GMAT score is probably below the average for the NYU part-time program. Thus your work experience and the overall strength of your application must mitigate that weakness. This late in the admissions cycle, it is a big risk for you to apply as the competition for the few remaining seats can be fierce. You might consider waiting to apply in the first round of the next cycle as it will give you more time to work on your essays and establish a rapport with the admissions office. You could also retake the GMAT and try to increase your score--a 20 point increase could make a difference for you.
