6 times? I don't want to sound like a bad person, but taking the exam so many times with only moderate success is not going to be a bright spot on your application... I understand most test takers go for three tries at most. Some consultants on this board have pointed out that retaking without much improvement in scores will impact your admission chances, especially if you're shooting for a top MBA...

But that aside: your range proves that there is still some work to be done with the fundamentals. I suggest focusing on those for the time being and maybe you could advance later on. I understand Princeton is pretty good for this sort of stuff (see Eric's - founder of the forum - review here: https://www.beatthegmat.com/books.html). Also, it seems as though you haven't used up all the official material available. You should consider buying the two targeted OGs for more practice.

As for your study regime: given your track record, I would be cautious as to the degree of success attainable in two months, while working full time. You are looking at something like a 70-point increase, which is of course doable, but you really need to invest in studying. This is why you can do 2 things, IMHO:
- create a rigorous study plan, devoting 1-2 hours a day during weekdays and 5-6 in weekends, with particular emphasis on verbal
- enlist the help of a private tutor that can keep you focused and help pinpoint your weak areas

I would like to know more about how multiple GMAT attempts are viewed by the admission committe of various schools. I have 3 years of work experience(2 as an entrepreneur) and my top choice is the Babson One Year MBA program or the Sauder 15 month MBA program. For Babson One Year MBA the average gmat required is 590 and for Sauder it is 630.

Also, do you think if it is worth taking up the GMAT for the 7th time to increase my score? I mean it would be more damaging if I dont get my target score and would make it tougher for me. With a GMAT score of 590 and 3 years of work experience I am really looking for a One year or a 15 month MBA program that fosters Entrepreneurship .Any ideas? Thanks again.

Well, I can't say if taking the GMAT a 7th time will hurt your admission chances or not - 6 times is already quite a lot, so I don't really know if the 7th time will make any difference for such a high count. I'm not familiar with b-school application (I'm still at least a year away before applying myself), but I'd suggest asking this question in the "Ask an MBA admissions consultant" section of the forum, together with a short bio, highlighting your GPA, WE and XCs.
