Hi,

I'm in a little weird situation. I am a dual citizen of S. Korea and Canada.
I now live in U.S. and just recently took my GMAT. When I took my GMAT, I registered as a Korean citizen because my Canadian passport was expired. But I'm planning on applying to schools as a Canadian since I received my degree in Canada. Would the school still be able to retrieve GMAT score even if my nationality on application and my nationality with GMAT are different?(same name)

Also someone told me that as a Canadian applicant I would have better chance of getting in since most of schools in U.S. accept greater number of students from North America than from Asia. Please enlighten me. Thank you.

Dear bjcoolj,

The schools should still be able to retrieve your scores. As for your dual citizenship status, you will actually apply as a dual citizen of Canada and South Korea. Your citizenship status will probably not have any bearing on your admissions decisions, but it might help you with your job search while in business school.

Hi,

I have been living and working in the UK for a few years now. I went to uni in England but hold an Indian passport. I am being seconded to the US on a long-term assignment very shortly. I intend to apply to US MBA schools in Round 2 for Fall 2013. What category of applicants would I fit into?

If I will be a resident of the US at the time of my application, would that make me a US applicant? The reason why I ask is that if this is the case, it would increase my chances of success (as from what I have read, the ratio of US to international applicants is c. 70:30)? - or would i still be considered international?
