If n and k are integers and (-2)n^5 > 0, is k^37 < 0?

1) (nk)^z > 0, where z is an integer that is not divisible by two
2) k < n

If n and k are integers and (-2)n^5 > 0 => n = negative, is k^37 < 0
(The question can be rephrased to is K negative?)
?

1) (nk)^z > 0, where z is an integer that is not divisible by two

=> (negative *k)^ odd >0 => negative *k = Positive => k = negative Sufficient !

2) k < n

n = -ve, k<n => k is -ve and less than n (e.g. n = -1 and k < n => k < -1 =< k = negative) Sufficient!
