If r + s + t = r – u = s – t

If r + s + t = r - u = s - t then which of the following statements are true?

I. r = -2t
II. s + t + u = 0
III. r + 2s = 2 · (s - t)

(A) I, only
(B) II, only
(C) III, only
(D) I and III, only
(E) I, II, and III

If r + s + t = r - u = s - t

r + s + t = s - t, implies r =-2t
r + s + t = r - u, implies s + t + u = 0
r + s + t + s - t = 2 *(r - u) = 2*(s - t), implies r + 2s = 2 * (s - t)
