My supervisor had provided recommendations to all the schools I applied to. Just got to know this morning that he was let go.

What now? Will this affect any of the verification processes? If the adcom/vendor tries to reach him on the numbers/e-mail ID I had provided, he may not be available.

Do I have to inform the adcom about this? I'm still waiting for interview calls from all the schools that I applied in round 2.

You don't need to call anyone. Once you get in, you can figure it out. Some schools don't even have a verification process. You will be given a chance to provide updated information if they have trouble reaching him/her.

Thanks Guys!

I'm going to refrain from contacting the adcom now. I hope I'll get a chance to explain and they'll understand! What he said about me in the reco is not going to change, right? So I guess I'll just put it to rest now and worry abt it later.
