Hello again folks. Earlier I posted a snapshot of my B-school journey in this thread -
https://www.beatthegmat.com/average-gmat ... 81218.html - If anyone read that yarn, you remember that my GMAT (my THIRD score) was 570. I was quite pleased at the offer from AU, however, I have been accepted to Georgetown (McDonough) Part Time MBA program.

I was nothing less than shocked when they called...after all, my GMAT was about 100 points below the average. I guess my military (24 years) experience, letters of recommendation, and essays were enough to show the admissions committee that I had something to offer.

SUMMARY - 570 GMAT and I am a HOYA!!

I toiled with the decision of Georgetown over American. In the end, I had my heart set on Georgetown for a long time. No way I could pass up this great opportunity, which came my way seemingly against all odds.
