Must be True Question

Hi,

I am confused in Must be True Questions.
Must be true questions are same as Inference Questions ?
In inference questions we can't select answer choice that restates the statement given in stimulus.

But in Must be true questions we can restate the statement given in stimulus and also if stimulus is
fact of statements then one need to find the relation between the facts.

Can someone please let me know about restate of statement is correct in must be true questions or in inference questions.

I don't know where you heard this, but it isn't true. While no answer choice (right or wrong) will exactly quote the passage verbatim, a "paraphrase" of something from the original stimulus can and often will be the right answer to an Inference Question. If you think that an answer "just restates something from the stimulus," it IS the right answer to an Inference Question.

So, yes, "must be true" = "inference."

You might be confused with assumption questions.Assumption answer cannot be a paraphrase.

You are right. Assumption is something that is unstated. If something is stated, it can't be assumption(Disclaimer: If two or more ideas (stated) are bind together by using some logic , you can consider it an assumption.)
