Multiples of x between a and b?

If i'm reading this question right, I did 96/4 = 24 - 2 since 4 and 8 are not included, hence there are 22 multiples of 4 between 12 and 96 inclusive

That's right but can we generalize this problem to find even for larger numbers. Like if in the question we had to find multiples between 120 and 340.

To count evenly spaced integers:

Number = (biggest - smallest)/interval + 1.

Given multiples of 4, the interval is 4.

Between 12 and 96, inclusive:
Multiples of 4 = (96-12)/4 + 1 = 22.

Between 120 and 340, inclusive:
Multiples of 4 = (340-120)/4 + 1 = 56.
