Thanks vineesh for a super quick reply , i have a query that if x = 0 then is still statement 1 SUFF.GMAT makes me confuse in simple concepts .

I think x=0 is also ok because there still wont be a remainder when you divide by 12.
If I am wrong, someone should respond.

Hmm i got the concept where i was lacking , i thought we need to have the info whether x is 0 or not but it is not required . so your answer is right . OA is also indeed A. Sometimes it feels really silly to have such issues while attempting 37 question in a string , thank god we dnt have any diffrential and intergral concepts in GMAT .
