Hi

I have a BA in English translation and i have 19 years work experience (12 years MD of my own company). I am moving to Toronto Canada next year. I would like to get my MS here in Dubai before i move so i have a better chance of finding a decent job there. Should i go for IBM or supply chain?? Im planning to study in Heriot Watt University (ranked 32 in UK). is it a recognised university in Canada or they prefer a graduate from a Canadian uni? Or perhaps taking a course in accounting might be a better idea??
Please advise

Thanks
katy

Dear katy,

You need to pursue the degree option that makes the most sense for the career you want. What do you want to do in your career? I encourage you to really think about where you want to be in your career over the next 5 years and select the degree program that best matches your aspirations. Whether you earn the degree in Dubai or wait until you arrive in Canada is up to you; however, Canadian companies will be more familiar with Canadian schools.

Good luck,
Lisa
