Statement 1:-
Case 1:-If (x-3) is +ve ,then x-3>=y
or x>=y+3

Statement 2:-
Case 1:-If (x-3) is +ve ,then x-3<=-y
or x+y<=3.
Case 2:-If (x-3) is -ve,then 3-x<=-y
or x>=y+3
We see that both the statements represent the same thing.
Also,value of x cannot be determined from both .Hence,E.
