I am not sure if its a good question

A - the omni coliseum's roof was home to Atlanta Hawks - the roof cannot be home - wrong meaning
B - The Omni Coliseum is often said to look like an egg crate - the roof is supposed to look like an egg crate
C - seems fine though I am skeptical about this construction more about this below.
D - The distinctive roof of the Omni Coliseum was home to the Atlanta Hawks - Same as A - wrong
E - the Omni Coliseum, often said to look like an egg crate - same as B - wrong

In C - Noted for its distinctive roof, often said to look like an egg crate, the Omni Coliseum - Shouldn't we need the Omni coliseum to be followed after Noted for its distinctive roof ?

The structure seems this way - Noted for its distinctive roof should modify Omni coliseum and often said to look ... should modify the roof. Now the second modifier is fine as in often said to look ... rightly modifies the roof, but the first one is not clear. I don't think its right. Anyway its the best among all :)
