Modern economics has determined that long-term economic growth is likely a consequence not of spending by the government or executing good monetary policy, but favorable corporate tax policy that allows for increased hiring, stable cash flows, and long-term planning.

spending by the government or executing good monetary policy, but

spending by the government or executing good monetary policy, but that of

stimulus spending or executing good monetary policy, but

stimulus spending or the execution of good monetary policy, but of

stimulus spending or the execution of good monetary policy, but

OA D? OF is mandatory and is there only in B and D. but that of is not required.

Hence D. B also lacks parallelism in spending by the government or executing, since spending is in noun form but executing is in verb form.

My concern is the change to "Stimulus". Is that allowed? I don't know.
Vineesh,
Just telling you what I know and think. I am not the expert. :)

Isn't spending and executing parallel?

I assumed that in but "that" of refers to consequence - but consequence of favorable....

I know B is wrong from what Kaplan gave me. So I believe D should be correct.

No they are not, because spending of something.. so spending is a noun here.. like saying the spendings on the election. Spending of energy etc. Here spending is in noun form.

Executing is used directly as a verb in its normal form .. executing something. So they are not parallel.

You may wait for an expert opinion on this or ping some expert asking for help on your questions.

You dont have the OA from Kaplan?

spending and executing parallel are || but they are NOT || to 'favorable corporate tax policy' .not X but Y requires X & Y to be || and moreover "that of" is not required
