Thanks GmatEngineer! Does anyone know when round 2 applicants should expect to hear a decision from MLT? I'm hoping that it's before the first of February since our official GMAT scores have to be submitted by the 15th.

I am starting to get worried because I have not received an interview request. Does anyone know how the process works? Is MLT reaching out to people in alphabetical order? Or are they reaching out to people in the order in which they received applications. My last name is Torres and I submitted my app on 11/17(very close to the deadline) at 11:55pm.

I am on the same boat. I think those of us who haven't received an invite yet are gonna get waitlisted. I called to check the status and they said that I should be hearing very soon if I am invited for an interview. I really couldn't read the person talking to me or get any information as he kept the conversation short.

Nonetheless, good luck to those still waiting on an answer and congrats to those who have advanced in the process. Please keep us posted.

Ok, I just got off the phone with MLT. The person who I spoke to informed me that applicants will be notified for an interview for the next 3-4 weeks and decisions will be made by the end of this month through the first week of next month. I'm still nervous but at least we know there is still a chance for us. Good luck everyone!

@GTHopeful, I wouldn't worry about it too much. During Round 1 the interview dates were very spread out. Some people interviewed 2 weeks before final decisions were made.
They may be scheduling interviews based on location or last name. My last name begins with an 'F' and my interviewer was from the same region that I'm from.
I also submitted my score on the 17th of November, so I don't think that affects your interview date.
I don't think they will extend the date to submit an official GMAT score so make sure that you are signed up so that if you are accepted you are prepared to submit your scores before the Feb 15th deadline.

@Sfrazie6, thanks for the insight! I feel better knowing there is still a chance. The waiting is the worst part of the process. I'll take a break from checking my email every 2mins and focus on preparing for the exam which I'll take in February before the deadline.

I had my interview and felt it went really bad. I hate phone interviews because I cannot really read the person in the other side and this makes me very nervous. I think because English is not my first language I tend to be very concern if the person will have trouble understanding me and as a result I do a poor job getting to the point. In person interview I usually do a great job as I can read the body language of the person interviewing me and that makes me feel relaxed. I thought my interview was very formal and directed to the point. I felt I didn't express myself very well and the whole interview just went bad.
I wish the person who interviewed me was more friendly too. If I am interviewing someone and I notice the person is nervous, I try to break the ice a little bit so the person can feel more relaxed. Oh well!!
Even though I think I have a great application/ great background I think because of my poor interview I will not get accepted. Wish all good luck!

@afaris87 I won't worry too much about it. I didn't think my interview went that well either. Some of my answers were flat out terrible. But I don't think they expect you to have a completely polished story. Also who knows how much weight they put into the interviews. I doubt they would reject you based on a few unclear answers if the rest of your application is stellar. I would try not to worry too much about it. Hang in there.

Re2pect, you make an excellent point. Because MLT MBA Prep helps you develop the skills you need to he successful throughout the MBA admissions process, which includes the interview, I doubt that MLT expects a completely polished story. If you were already perfect, you wouldn't need MLT.

I am not sure how much weight they put on the interview itself because it is just one component of your application.

I felt bad about my interview because I didn't express myself in the way I wanted but I still was extended an offer in round one. If this was a CR argument on the GMAT this argument would be flawed lol but the main idea is that your strength is not based on a 15 minute conversation. You strength is rooted in the entirety of your application from a holistic perspective.

My interview is tomorrow for R2 and I've been preparing. However, I have not scheduled the test and due to work I haven't been studying like I want to/need to. If the deadline is Feb, 16th to submit official scores and it takes 20 days to get your official scores, does that mean I need to take the GMAT next week?????? Help!!!

No it doesnt. They accept unofficial score reports to start. But later on you will have to send in the official score report.I know a bunch of us who got accepted in round 1 are taking it on Saturday and our deadline is Monday. So we will all be using the report we get on Saturday. Also, I would advice you to sign up as soon as you can because test dates fill up quickly. At least they did for my area. I know some people had to sign up in test centers farther than they wanted. Hope this helps .
