I'm down for either platform. Thanks @Nadia222 for getting the ball rolling.

Just as a "keep your head up" to those who didn't get into the MLT program. I'm one of the URM's who went through the process without MLT and I managed to gain acceptance to 2 of the top 5 (with some $$$). In my opinion the best part of the MLT process is that it forces you to start thinking about what you need to do early, and it really gets you in the correct frame of mind. Don't let this one "no" discourage you. I completely support Nadia's sentiment of creating a support network. The road to a top MBA program is a long one, and the more people you have walking it with you the more likely it is that you'll reach your desired destination. Good Luck, and always keep pushing.

Thanks Terps1989, we definitely needed that and it's good to see others who have completed the journey. From your name , guessing you went to College Park? Also, gaining admission to two top 5 programs is amazing!!!!

A lot of good info in this thread. Thanks @Nadia222 and the others. Too bad I found out about this super late, I could of used the support when I was awaiting for the illustrious MLT program to respond to my application inquiries. I got denied, but I'm moving on (With a Hulk rage)! Good to see others are applying to many schools, and thanks for the heads up on being able to apply to more then 5 Consortium schools, if I break it out into 2 rounds. Hope to see some of you at the diversity weekend events, and remember in September, a whole slew of schools have their diversity events, so see ya'll then.

Most definitely! It is not the end of the world and life goes on.
You should definitely join our support network that we have on Group me. Send me your email and I will add you.
Best believe, we will make it into an top MBA program and will have glasses of champagne to celebrate the successes later.
:-).
