Basically, we are mixing two solutions of 0% (only water) and 35% to get 10%.
Let's assume that amount of water(0% solution) to be added is x.Also, A gives amount of 35% solution to be 50 gm.
Applying basic principle of alligation,
x/(35-10) = 50/(10-0)..this will give x.

Let it be the case when in the solution acid is 35% and other acid something different from water is 20% ( any acid other than this 35% ) and what we left is water than....
That's why i choose C.

Yes, what are you saying is correct. That may be the case.
