I took two MGMAT practice tests:
680 Q 48, v35
640 Q 44, v32
Here are my concerns / thoughts.
Math: The math is just impossible. Nearly every single question is confusing, long, and more than anything, mentally exhausting. As a high scorer, nearly EVERY SINGLE QUESTION I SAW was way harder than anything in OG11 including the last 20 questions. It seemed that 50% of the last 10 questions in OG11 for DS and PS would be 600-700 questions on MGMAT and only maybe half a dozen questions in the entire OG11 would be 700-800 questions on MGMAT.
Verbal: The sentence correction and critical reasoning were much harder and more confusing than almost all of the OG11 questions. Again, the 700-800 level questions were harder than almost anything I saw in the OG 11. I got like 6 out of 15 CR questions right whereas on the OG, I got 85% of them right and 75% of the hard questions (last 20) The reading comprehension was about equal. It also seems that the way the critical reasoning questions are written is consistent with OG.
This is obviously good practice, but it seems that MGMAT is too hard. Any thoughts?
