MGMAT - Verbal ?

Expert replies

I just took an MGMAT CAT for the first time and got a 650 (43 in quant; 36 in verbal). I thought that the SC and RC parts were relatively representative of what I saw on GMATPrep. However, I found CR to be more difficult. They were longer and more complex than the OG, purple guide, and the GMATPrep tests.

Was wondering if others feel the same way.

I found the same thing - that the CR was more complex in MGMAT. In particular, the solutions tended to have more complex thought paths than OG11 in my opinion.

I am glad that I'm not alone. Thus far, I have gone through 50 CR questions from the purple guide with only 4 questions answered incorrectly. This question type, along with sentence correction, have been my true strength on the verbal section.

I will rely on my OG results rather than MGMAT.

Thanks, mayo.
