MGMAT Scoring Algorithm

I have given another MGMAT CAT today. Although I am pretty happy with the score 770 (Q51, V44), I am quite surprised with the Quant score.

I got 11 questions wrong in the Quant section. The assessment report says that 8 of those were at an average level of 750. Despite that how can the score of 51 be explained. I have read somewhere that 51 is the highest one could get on GMAT. To get that don't you have to get almost everything right?

I have taken one GMAT prep CAT so far. 740 (Q50, V41). I had 8 questions wrong on that test. That makes me doubt the MGMAT Quant score even more.

Thanks,
Vik.

mgmat tests fall apart beyond a 750 score. they aren't able to reliably predict your score once you reach that mark.
