C looks good to me too. But I think its wordy.

my vote for A

I think C does not sit well as a candidate because it changes the meaning. " Can" in the original sentence has a hint of uncertainty. But C seems to make it certain . Hence a change in meaning

yes its A i have also choosen correct option. praveen i think u should appear for real gmat as u correctly answers all the questions
