I've been dealing with what is known (to me at least) as the curse of the 580 score. No matter what, I cannot seem to beat that - except for the one lone time i got a 610. I've been using the MGMAT CATs exclusively and have read on the forums that these are skewed in the Quant with harder questions.
I've also read that GMATPrep has typically "easier" quant questions but those CATs should be saved until the last two weeks of prior to your test to gauge how well you will do.
I'm just curious if you all think i should ocntinue with my MGMAT cats and save the GMATPrep or should I take one of the GMATpreps now to see whether or not these math questions are really "easier" on the GMATprep CATs.
Obviously, the only way to beat the curse is to study more...but, what have been your experiences in the MGMAT vs GMATprep CAT tests? Any truth to this myth?
